The Poirier family cannot come close to expressing its gratitude to Senator Dodd for clearing the way and IG Kotz for instituting this new in-depth search. Hopefully, after 6.5 years of frustration there will be closure for all concerned.

What is the current status of the investigation into the disappearance of Walter J. Poirier III?
Is there any relationship between the current 'confusion' between the Embassy and the Peace Corps in Bolivia and the failure to come to a conclusion in the Poirier matter?
