hello. my name is alex and i seriously aspire to join the peace corps when the time is right for me and i have become as potentially influential as i can. in the meantime i have been reading alot about it and trying to learn as much as there is to learn about the pros and the cons.my main concerns are obviously safety issues and i am wondering if anyone with experience could help to educate/enlighten me. i understand in entering places so different danger is a real possibility. it doesnt make me want to change my mind- i just want to fully understand what it is that i may be accepting in the opprotunity to put a hand in makeing the world a better place : ) any posts would be appreciated!
