I was a volunteer in 95 in Zambia, my 10 weeks of school were hell because a director of the school was from the south and did not like my old Yankee butt, he told me to quit every time we meet. I did not so he wrote up a profile stating I was a bad risk for the peace corps, and it stuck to me all through the 8 mounts until I was injured and had to go home, In shame, my reputation was tarnished, I have a dozen letter from people in my catchments area saying how bad they felt. A number of problems came up because of my bad record written by a discriminating person caused the effect of a “Red headed step child”
MY injuries put me in to the DOL and I have been filing claims for 13 years with out any success, all my doctors say, medical end will not recover. I cant afforded a lawyer
I am With out funds, have watched my life go bad in 13 years with no help from Peace Corps no respect for a volunteer
