The courses I've taken may or may not aid me in volunteering. Sculpture, drama, writing, jewelry and metal work. I'll be the first to admit that I lack experience, but I'm dying to help people through something as huge and solid as the Peace Corps., and right now is the perfect time to leave. My siblings are growing up well without me, my dad just cleared the biggest hurtle in his fight with cancer, and I'm currently unemployed. But I realize my acceptance wont float on sheer desire. What can I do in the next week or so to better my chances? Oh-- and before you say it, Americorps is not an option. I want the experience of a lifetime, not something I could be doing in my free time in my own backyard. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I just want more.

Thanks for readin'.
