Hello,

I am working on a project for our local organization of Sister Cities International. It will be a choral concert in a commemoration of 9/11, with each of our 7 cities represented with music and commentary. We want to use a statement from each country that sums up the ideals of peace, unity, mutual respect, and humanitarianism.

Can you recommend a poet, philosopher, statesman from Swaziland and for Indonesia who would have made quotable statements on the ethos of their country related to these issues? Something similar to Lincoln's "With malice toward none, with charity for all...etc." We intend to read the quotes in the language of the sister city and then in English, as part of our commemorative service.

I left this message first on the wrong page, I think. I'll try it here. Thank you for any help you can give.
