After many years of not really thinking about the Peace Corps and those I served with I decided to play with the computer to see if I could turn up any of the people I served with. I cannot remember most of the names : Gerald, Bitsy, Jane, Steve, Craighton, etc. I completed doctoral course work in Recreation and Leisure Studies , taught college for awhile. Last 30 years have been Director of Programs of the Cabbage Patch Settlement House in Louisville, Ky, serving at risk Urban youth with service programs. Would love to hear from anyone from the group. I served both in Barinas, teaching PE and Coaching and then in Moron, helping Steve K. develop a YMCA. RNapier@CabbagePatch.Org; 502-753-4447. I live on a 100 acre farm where I raise and train horses and bird dogs. Still Motorcycling, hunting, canoeing, fishing, etc. Love the outdoors. Contact me and come for a visit.

Dear William:
Give me a call when you can.
I think we may some things in common and things to talk about regarding a) our Peace Corps days in Venezuela b)the possibility of bringing some of the Cabbage Patch concepts to Chicago someday and c)bringing Chicago kids on field trips to Cabbage Patch in Louisville someday.
I am also a former Peace Corps volunteer and served in Venezuela with the YMCA from 1962 to 1964.
Sincerely,
Joe Carroll Jaycox
