Ms. Tien from Texas!!! :D Finally I've found your listing after trying literally for many years to search for you all over the Internet! You don't know how much effort I expended over these years browsing all the Peace Corps and RPCV alumni directory listings for your complete name. All I knew about you when we met in Banaue, Ifugao back in May 1999 was what you told me when we first met that rainy afternoon near the waiting shed: your first name and where you came from. You were standing there in your black rubber shoes, caked with mud from the main road to the town hall, and I asked you how to reach the hanging bridge down below in the river valley, and you cheerfully helped me go down the right path. I remember you wearing glasses, your hair in a stylish bob, always smiling, with your Asian eyes sparkling even in the falling light. I could not forget that brief, almost magical moment. We did meet several more times afterwards while we were there (once right inside the town hall just after we paid a courtesy call to the local mayor). I hope you'd remember me.
