Costa Rica Tours, Ltd., owned and operated by two RPCVs who served in Costa Rica and Panama, is organizing a special six-day tour to Panama for RPCVs and guests from December 27, 2001 to January 1, 2002.  This unique tour includes an eight-hour, ocean-to-ocean, full transit of the Panama Canal, history tour of the capital, visit to an Embera Indian village in the rainforest, and a stay at the new five-star Gamboa Rainforest Resort where we will be briefed by Peace Corps staff on critical issues facing Panama today, and where we will celebrate New Year's Eve with a dinner and party.
