Gamal Dillard, who served in Esmeraldas, Ecuador--1998-2001, is now using his comedic skills to make others laugh. His impersonations include the Rev. Al Sharpton, Michael Jackson, The African-American Jew and Strong Black Woman.

After spending the past several months doing open mics in Manhattan, Gamal performed in two new talent showcases at Stand-Up NY in Manhattan's Upper West Side. He is now working with a professional comedian who is showing him how to make the best of his talent.

Soon his Peace Corps experience will make it's way into his routine. Gamal's next performance is Friday, the 18th of July at 6pm at Stand-Up New York, which is on the corner of West 78th St. and Broadway.

Until Gamal gets gets his own movie deal, he continues to work for the NY Peace Corps recruiting office. He can be reached at gdillard@peacecorps.gov

Gamal thanks you in advance for your support!
