Peace Corps needs to address the safety and cover ups they have performed on volunteers now and in the past.
Victims without health care is negligence.
I would say the victims of violence go home with more problems which will be a lifetime yet the DOL doesn't how to help and Peace Corps knows they are sending you into a bureaucratic nightmare, so that ultimately you don't get services.
Family requests are shunned.
The blame game is what they say about volunteers with these issues.
Peace Corps has sent many out alone or we were alone while an attack took place. The Peace Corps then tries to define what we experienced in their little files by lieing. When you discount the volunteer's true experience you are covering up and not serving anybody.
We are the program not administrators at Peace Corps. |
