Hello. I am not a HIV positive. But I am an AIDS orphan volunteer in China. Because in 1990s, there is prevalently illegal blood selling in some provinces in China. As a result, many poor villagers infected HIV/AIDS. At present, many people died of this disease. Then there are many orphans who is healthy but influenced by their parents' illness. Now, my colleague and I is building a special school for these AIDS orphans, in order to give their opportunities of living and studying. We met an HIV positive guy on the internet the other day, and chatted with him well. He wanted to be a voluntary teacher in our school. Because his major is teaching, however, when other colleagues in his school knew he was a HIV positive. They fired him. He has a dream to teach again. And our school would like to give him this opportunity. But the problem is he is taking a kind of combined medicine which costs him 1500 RMB(=185 USD) per month. And it is a pity that our school can not afford his medical costing. I wonder if there is some organization or HIV positive volunteer association can support his action. If you know something, please feel free to email me. My contact information is lyylinda1981@yahoo.com.cn |
