Hi,
My name is Salah Abdur-Rahman and I am looking for
a very good friend who left to go to the Peace
Corps in the early 1990's and we have not heard
from her since. Pam was on her way to Romania for
a 2 year service and had left her job in Boston.
Pam is from Buzzard's Bay, Massachusetts and we
went to graduate school at the University of
Wisconsin- Madison in the late 1970's. She did
her undergraduate studies at Ithaca College in
N.Y. We miss her very much and hope that she is
well. We have not even been able to contact her
parents in Buzzard's Bay who were fairly well on
in age even when she left. I hope someone is able
to get us in touch with her as she has a few
friends especially back in Madison who have not
heard from her. I can be contacted at : salahar@
aol.com Thank you very much.

Hi Salah, in response to your posting on the internet, i have not heard from Pamela ever since she left Romania. Not sure what happened to her... I was a good friend of hers in Romania, she was like my mentor, she meant a lot to me. We were very close. When I came to the US (Boston) in 2001 to pursue my studies, I tried to track her down, and called her, but when I spoke to her she said she never wanted to hear from me again... i was very hurt, didn't know what happened.. it's been 4 years+ since you've posted this message, I hope you were able to reach her since, and I hope she's OK.
