Hello Kevin... to answer your question... certainly there are better ways for our government to spend our money. Their emphasis is on 'spending someone else's money' - especially on war to botch up the Planet - then putting the bite on RPVCs who were serving PeopleKind freely to try to put our Planet back together. If there is a possibility that change will come it will come from those of us who are being Shafted, not from the Shafters. It's the same slant one tells an abused wife who doesn't want to hurt her abuser's feelings. "Why should he want to change? He enjoys the way he is." The news media prints what people want to buy... the general level of our culture's interest. That's what it is and it can't be fixed. Knowing those two items is the first step toward doing our own thing. I am sure there are those who have asked why I didn't shut up about my personal topic. The reason is, nothing has been fixed. I don't know what else to say to get the point across that PCVs and soldiers are set up for dying should they contract Falciparum. It's in the PCOL Libary under 'malaria' in two entries for me. Readers don't believe it? It can never happen to them? It's somebody else's job. What are "They" doing about it? Who is "They?" I made several outrageous claims and not a soul has asked for documents to prove what I said. One document is a fax from Tanzania Embassy to State Department. The first half was a Load of Manure... second half was handwriting by someone within State Department personel talking about my death and firing the Peace Corps official in Tanzania who had me medically evacuated. I will put that on this listserv if you tell me how. It's on a CD, many CDs]. If you tell me how, be explicit. I don't make connections between two unexplained statements. Nor do I get thoughts in order. Nor learn new things. On the final note of my expensive OWCP case, I have many medical documents stating total and permanent disability, plus a legal statement from a Senator and my attorney, and from Labor Department. Yet I must have an annual examination anyway. What a waste! |
