From 1966-68 I worked with Afghan musicians and poets and created a small children's songbook. I am now trying to get it republished and hopefully have Afghan musicians record the songs. I'd like to distributte it in the U.S. and Afghanistan. Anyone know Afghan musicians? Ideas for funding? I have most of the songs translated into English for U.S. distribution. There are about 15 songs. This is a way to preserve an important part of Afghan culture. Any ideas are great and most appreciated.

Joan Litman who works at the International School in New York has been collecting Middle-Eastern Children's songs. Maybe she would be useful.
