I am interested in joining the peace corps, my biggest love is education, I want to go somewhere to teach anything really. I will only have an associates of arts degree at the end of this quarter, would that be sufficient? What should i expect? how long are the terms? what are the pros and con's from someone who has done this? I would really just like to hear some people's stories and perspectives, thanks, amanda

It can indeed be done as long as you meet age requirement, etc... It would help if you had some teaching experience (perhaps training/internship you did for the degree?).

PC is actually targeting recruitment at community colleges more these days.

Go to www.peacecorps.gov - the official PC site. There you'll find all of the requirements, information on recruitment at community colleges and much more.
