Peace Corps Belize
Peace Corps has been a part of the development of Belize for almost 35 years, beginning when the country was still
called British Honduras and many of the Volunteers were assigned as classroom teachers.
Over the years Peace Corps has responded to the needs of the people, developing new projects and sharing the technical
skills needed to strengthen our role as a partner in development with the Government of Belize.
Today, Peace Corps/Belize has 53 Volunteers working in a variety of projects including:
