Dear Friends,

PAX--Program for Academic Exchange, a not-for-profit educational foundation designated by the State Department to bring high school students into America for an academic and cultural exchange is looking for a home for a Uruguayan boy who has a school slot in Hamilton County High School in Jasper, Florida. Sebastian is coming in January for a 5-month homestay and he needs a home with a really special family who can open their hearts to him and share their lives with him. We have found him a school, but are still looking for a family. Are there any RPCVs in Hamilton County Florida who can help us by hosting Sebastian or by recommending a family to us? All PAX families are supported by a local coordinator and by the national office. Sebastian will have his own spending money and insurance. He needs a room to sleep in and space to study, but he can share a room with a host sibling within 4 years of his age. This is a wonderful opportunity for a RPCV to reengage with Uruguayan culture and to help a student in need.

Although we have room in a school in Hamilton county Florida, we would be happy if a family anywhere was interested in hosting them.

I hope there is someone out there who can help us find Sebastian a family.

We can be reached at 1-800-555-6211 or via the internet at www.pax.org.

Thank you
PAX Regional Directors
