As most Returned Peace Corps Volunteers will tell you, India affected me more than I affected India.
After being there about a year, I brought out my camera and found that everybody wanted to have their picture taken.

Good Woman of Setzuan (LD & TD)
I did my undergraduate work at Grinnell with a junior year at Carnegie Mellon and my graduate work at the University of Washington. Thirty years of United States Institute of Theatre Technology conventions and workshops have helped me keep up on new technology.
I began teaching film, set design, lighting design, sound design, and technical direction. Over the years, as these areas became more specialized, they have refined down to lighting and sound. I've also learned how to create web pages.
I have written numerous articles on technical theatre while a technical Director. I also compiled A Bibliography of Theatre Technology: Acoustics and Sound, Lighting, Properties, and Scenery, Greenwood Press, 1982. I have been the technical director, sound and light designer on an average of four productions a year for the last thirty years.
