I was wondering if it would be possible to find out where Howard Opper Tunisia 76-78 might be. He at one time worked for the Peace Corps about 20 years ago for a while. He went to France a couple of years ago from DC area. Can't find him. Also Dan Helmick 77-78, Michael See 77-78, Carrie Hoffman & Fran Hoffmeyer 78-79 and Michael Lynch 75-77, all Tunisia.

Thanks
Bob Halstead

"Friends of Tunisia," the organization that represents PCVs who served in Tunisia, can be reached by email at fotrpcv@yahoo.com. Because we are low-tech (and proud of it) we have no website. Our ordinary mail address is P.O. Box 25245, Washington, DC 20027. Tel 202-526-0897.

For any peace corps workers on the ground in Tunisia now ... WIRED magazine (www.wired.com), and award-winning, nationally recognized (in the United States) magazine, is working on a vacation mention of Gabes, Tunisia for the July,2007 issue. I'm a factchecker at Wired. I'm wondering, would Gabes be a particular place of criminal activity and villainy?

I need an answer by 5/20/07. Please email me at melissa_miller (at) wired (dot) com.

thanks!
