Upcoming Seventies Reunion!
This message is for all Honduras RPCV's who served during the years 1974 - 1979. We are planning our second reunion in Nashville Tennessee over Memorial Day Weekend of 2006. Our 2002 reunion in Las Vegas featured lots of music, great visits, and an all-day picnic. The Nashville bash should be even bigger and better. For information, contact Brant Miller at finalvinyl@comcast.net or Maggie McQuaid at magmcq@alaska.net.

Queridos RPCV Amigos,
Greetings from the Memory Project - my name is Ryan Egan and I'm an RPCV from Peru (05-08'). In searching for folks who are connected with Peace Corps Honduras, I came across this site.
Our organization, The Memory Project, invites young artists around the world to create portraits as special gifts for children facing challenges. It's for positive memories, kindness, and peace. Each year we partner with local organizations in 7-8 different countries in having portraits created for 800-1000 children in each. Since 2004, we've been able to do this with thousands of kids in more than 40 countries.
For this next school year, we'd really love to reach children in rural parts of Honduras and I thought this might be a good place to start looking for ideas of a community(s) that might enjoy this experience. In addition to the portraits, we'd also love to make a financial donation to the organization or institution that is working with the kids.
Please do reach out if you have any ideas.
Many thanks for your time and take good care!
With gratitude,
Ryan
