Uzbekisan RPCV's or PCV's many peaceful religious believers from Uzbekistan our presently being detained by the U.S. Government and not permitted to attain a BOND. There is no proof of criminal activity and yet their charge is "Terrorist Activity". There brave people are against the present regime of Uzbekistan and are under threat of imprisonment or to be dealt with physically if returned. Many of these people are seeking political asylum; we can help them and supply documentation of any sort re anything you witnessed during your two year stay. Please forward any suggestions, contacts and/or statements. Thanks. msmanyrooms@yahoo.com 215 473 0590

Hello! I am currently a Peace Corps Uzbekistan Invitee and am just doing some research into the possible next two years of my life. I will be working as a Secondary Education English Teacher doing TEFL. I am just interested in any and all feedback on your experience as a volunteer in Uzbekistan. I am especially interested in some female feedback, as I am a pretty independent, and somewhat opinionated woman. I am curious as to how challenging you found adjusting from life as a woman in the United States to life in Uzbekistan. Thank you in advance!

I'm currently doing research and am considering using Uzbekistan as my topic for my Pol Sci class. I'm not sure how much you can tell me but I would be interested in asking some questions. Particularly about the state of the Uzbek Government.
thanks.
