My name is Les McBride, still living and working in Chad. Occasionally Chadians will come to me for addresses of former volunteers. Presently, one of the local administrators for the Baguirmi Department (note: there has been an administrative reorganization of the prefectures)would like to renew contact with Paul Morten who served in Chad 1988-89. If anyone knows how to contact him, please ask that he send me a message at: mcbridele@state.gov. Much appreciated.

Dear friends of Chad: I wanted to let you know that I have a new CD of music ready. It's called "Griot". You can downloads songs for free from Amazon.com and MP3.Com/davidkendallgrant/ Some of the songs are based on my Peace Corps experience. "Transforming Lions" is based on a folk tale I heard in my village. The songs are performed on a variety of traditional acoustic instruments in occasionally non-traditional settings. Hope you have a chance to check it out. Enjoy, David Grant Chad '90-92

To Chad RPCVs and current Chad PCVs -
I am a RPCV (Morocco 64-66). Our church is being asked to donate to an orphanage in Moundou, Chad; it is called VILLAGE ALTONODJI - opened in October 2007. Does anyone have any information/comments about this orphanage OR about its in-country parent organization SCPEDT, OR Pastor Ngarndeye Bako who is director of the Alliance of Evangelical Chuches and Missions in Chad? Thank you.

I served in Chad from 1976-1977. I'm looking to connect with other RPCV's from this era. I've started a facebook page where we can swap stories, pictures, links and announcements. See https://www.facebook.com/ChadRPCV197x/
