Would love to hear thoughts/advice from anyone who has served in Senegal.

I'm leaving this next Sunday, March 16 for staging in Philadelphia and then Dakar on the 18th.

I'm packing and wondering 'do I have everything I should take?'. My latest question is how much and what type of clothing would be best to take. I know that I will want clothes made locally but will also need something to get by with until then.

Your thoughts? (I'm male).

Ouch. Bring few clothes as you will go native rather quickly.
