I am Joe Clements my wife and I were in Terrabona 1973 and 74. I introduced hybrid beans and tripled crop. The US pulled all out late 1974 when the terrible killing war was getting bad. Is Juan de las Casas of Monte Grande stll alive? He was a fine man.

Hi
I am Jaime Zapata. I am a general doctor. I did my social service in Terrabona two years ago.I was working in Montaña Grande.
I have a friend working for the P.C. his name is Miguel Guterbock. Bacause of him I have heard about the P.C . I met him in Rio Blanco, another municipio of Matagalpa.
Talking about Terrabona, I have to say that it has not changed that much. Right now it has been catalogated as one of the poorest areas in the country. I am in touch with the people and if you want me to visit any particular person and give him/her any information I am able to do it.I usually go to Terrabona (once a month) please contact me. I am writing down my e-mail. Thank you very much.

Hi, Jaime Zapata,
in 1983 till about 1990 "Hameln-Partner-Matagalpa" a group out of Hamelin, Germany, send people and material, a Toyota Landrover and money to construct water pipelines in about 15 villages around Terrabona. People helped and learned how to work with water-engeneering. Andreas Bode and Jens Wolling and Manfred Matz are the names of our best people we sent to Terrabona.
Many people out of Hamelin, I too, visited Terrabona and also people of Terrabona visited Hamelin.
Armando Montoya was in Hameln over one year and learned water-engeneering. After that he went back with tools to Terrabona and we payed him for some years to repair the pipelines. Do you know if still some pipelines are working, do you know Armando Montoya? If yoo see him: The best wishes from Hamelin, perhaps you could write back some lines.

My name is Brian Edwards. I was friends with Bartolo Cardenas of Terrabona and went there twice in 1986 and 1989. It is a beautiful peaceful place and I miss it very much.
Bartolo's father was Don Julian, and his cousin Bartolo ran the post ofice back then.

I would like to make contact with Bartolo. If anyone can help, please contact me at borderbrain@hotmail.com

I now live in Edinburg Texas, back then I lived in the Los Angeles, California area.
