Personal Interests:
One of my greatest passions is traveling. I have traveled extensively in Western and Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Central and South America. While living in Honduras from 1985-87, I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer working with adult literacy, women's groups, and rehabilitation programs for street kids.
I have led eight fine arts tours to England, France and Italy. During Christmas of 1998 I returned to Honduras for the first time since my Peace Corps experience to work with the Salvation Army in disaster relief efforts following Hurricane Mitch. My most recent trip was to Kenya during January of 2000. One of my most memorable adventures was an around the world trip to China, Thailand, India, Kenya, and Zimbabwe in the summer of 2000. I also enjoy decorating and backyard gardening, reading, music, theatre, foreign films, and walking (at 6:00am!)
