Hi, i'm trying to locate Mr. Dan that taught English at Chunan boys' middle school around '68~'70. We called him Mr.Dan and I'm not sure what was his full name... possibly Mr.Danaustein or Mr.Danaustine or maybe Dan Augstine. I'm looking for two returned peace corps volunteers, Bruce G. Butterfield and Kevin S. Fleming. If my memory is correct, Bruce taught English at Kochang (North Cholla Province) Junior High School and at Sogang University in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Kevin was at a middle school in Chinjoo, South Kyonsang Province, and at Konkuk University in the 1970s and early 1980s. If any of you has contact inforamtion for Bruce or Keven--or both, please let me know. I'm anxious to get in touch. After reconnecting with Bruce G. Butterfield in 2007, I emailed him on Sept. 18, 2007. My email read in part: "Probably most important about my friendship with you was what I learned from you as an American about your beautiful country as a land of freedom and opportunity and about your great people. I was touched by your strong commitment to service and your deep sense of decency and sharing as a warm-hearted American. In the course of getting to know you, I started thinking about the U.S. for my future. It was you, and no one else, who inspired me, a Korean teenager from a family with little education, to dream a dream."
