Dr. Jeff Taylor is an ophthalmologist specializing in diseases of the retina, macula and vitreoretinal surgery. Dr. Taylor sees patients at Davidson Eye Clinic once a week.
Dr. Taylor received a degree in political science from Brown University and did his pre-medical courses at Harvard University. He completed medical school at the University of Illinois with honors. His ophthalmology training was completed at Manhattan Eye and Ear Infirmary and was followed by a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Taylor taught in the Peace Corps in Libya and was a Green Beret in the U.S. Army serving in Panama. Dr. Taylor has three children. He and his wife Gayle live in Pamlico County. In his free time, Dr. Taylor enjoys fishing, welding and other redneck activities.
