I only remember that your name was Mr. Van. You Taught English in Gambo Catholic School in Arsi region. You used to show us magic in the class room. You taught us English composition. I was your top student. But one day I lost contest. The contest was that you asked us as many words as possible from Tuberculosis. Your sercond student won the contest and got a book, because he used dictionary. I used my head and lost it. I sobbed in the class and told me that next time I could win. You used to take me with you on your motor bike. I cling to you and travel with you any where. I remember that one day when Huluka river was full you carried your M.bike to the other side of the river asnd came back to carry me to acroos the river, on your shoulder. I could not forget those days and I feel so bad. I terribly miss you. Now I am in US. I graduated from veterinary school in Ethiopia and did may masters in veterinary science before coming to US. It the result of your effort that pushed me along to achieve my objectives. You are different from some people I encountered even here. How did you feel when you were told by the dictsator military regime to leave the country during revolution. That should be teribble. I have a story to tell you too.
