POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA - Local gardeners will be in for a treat Thursday, Oct. 9 when David Price, Historic Bok Sanctuary's director of horticulture will present "Restorative Experience of Gardens," the talk he recently gave at the annual meeting of the American Association of Botanicasl Gardens and Arboreta in Boston.
The program will take place from noon until 1 p.m. at the Pinewood Estate on the grounds of Historic Bok Sanctuary. This will be in commemoration of the birth of Sanctuary founder Edward W. Bok, born Oct. 9, 1863, in the Netherlands.
