I am an eighth grade student participating in the National History Day competition this year. I, along with my group consisting of two others, am creating a video that portrays the theme, exploration, encounter, exchange in history, to my topic which happens to be the Peace Corps. All three parts fit into it well. However, this requires a lot of research and the use of both primary and secondary sources. One of the best primaries out there is an interview and I am looking for possible returned volunteers that are interested in conducting an interview. If you might like to be involved, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I really appreciate your response. Also, please include the years you served. I am willing to have phone interviews or just correspond through email, whatever works best. I was also hoping to find someone nearby to have an interview face-to-face,so if you live in New York anywhere near New York City or even in northern New Jersey or Connecticut, please indicate it in your response. Then I would be able to video tape our interview and use it for my project. Anyway, thank you so much for your response and I really appreciate the time you took to help me. Your support has been incredible and has not gone unnoticed.
