LAWRENCE, JAMES H., born Dec. 13, 1943, son of the late C.E. 'Pat' and Maude Lawrence of Charleston, Arkansas; passed away Wed., November 12, 2003; beloved husband of Earlene Lawrence (nee White); dear father of Sarah Lawrence (Tom Marchetti); dear brother of Paul (Jan) Lawrence, Joy (Jerry) Hayes, the late Perry Lawrence and the late Patsy Gibson; dear son-in-law of Rev. Earl and Dorothy White Jr.; dear brother-in-law of David (Vivian) White, Alice (Joe) Ceniceros, Allen (Elizabeth) White, Paul (Cindy) White; dear uncle and great-uncle. Mr. Lawrence retired school teacher for Ferguson- Florissant School District for 27 years.

Was a Peace Corps Volunteer in India 1968-1970. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m., Sat., Nov. 15, 2003 at HUTCHENS Mortuary, 675 Graham Rd., Florissant. Additional service in Charleston, Arkansas, on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Ferguson-Florissant Scholarship Fund in James' memory, 1005 Waterford Dr., Florissant 63033.
