Who is your political role model? Why?: The late Wyoming Governor Ed Herschler. Why? His frank, plain speaking manner and direct approach to solving problems. Example: When asked about the proposed deployment of Reagan's MX missle system on oval railtracks in western states he said, "it'd be better to put it on Amtrak and give the Russians a schedule".

What would be your top priority if you were (re)elected to this office?: To make the State Rep's office more accessible and responsive to constituents. I plan to create several citizen "advisory panels" organized around various topics such as transportation, affordable housing and environmental issues to engage the expertise and passion of residents of the district.
