Friends of Liberia started as an RPCV group but grew to include many more people, Liberians and others, who lived in Liberia or otherwise care about Liberia. Through these terrible years, FOL has been one organization that has consistently advocated for Liberia and provided concrete help, albeit small scale.

Several members of Liberia VI & VII are planning a 40th reunion on the island of Maui next summer. We'd like to extend an invitation to any RPCVs - especially those we served with in the late 60s. RPCVs currently living in the Aloha State include Pete Baker, Austin Lavoie, Janice Roberts, Leslie Newell, Dennis Rompasky and Dale Crabtree. Instead of just dwelling on the "good old days", we hope to follow our mandate of service to the community. No specific dates have been set.
