“A Gift of Life” By Lorissa Wilfong Holt (Book Lore Publications, 231 pages, $14.95 soft cover)

A Nazi concentration camp survivor and Peace Corps volunteer, Lorissa Wilfong Holt now lives in Emmett. The book tells about everything that led up to her Peace Corps assignment and how she ended up in Idaho from Ukraine. She taught English to Hungarian middle-school children for two years in the Peace Corps, an episode that makes up most of the memoir.
