DE WARE TIJD, OCTOBER 21ST 1996 PEACE CORPS OLD FASHIONED ?
* the Peace Corps has its first representatives in Suriname, a second group arrived, the Corps acts according to a development concept of the sixties, while we are in the nineties now;
* it is curious that the Peacecorps, that is working in the interior didn't make contact with local organizations that work in the interior already for a long time: Pater Ahlbrinck Stichting (PAS), NGO-Forum. Is there a hidden agenda?
* with the second group there are some small-scale initiatives of cooperation with the PAS: small scale dairy (Abadukondre), supporting schoolgardens (Corneliskondre and Donderskamp)
