The Peace Corps have returned to Fiji with coastal resource management and environment education high on their priority list.
Peace Corps director Gaddi Vasquez says the corps is back in the country upon invitation from the government with three areas of priority work.
Vasquez says the corps will be looking at coastal reserve management and coastal education, the youth sector and community health education. These areas, he says, are the priority areas outlined by government. Other sectors the corps will look at include information technology, small business development and forestry and fisheries.
