Bolivia RPCV Jennifer Ann Menser dies in New Mexico

JENNIFER ANN MENSER

Died peacefully February 15th after a lengthy illness.

Jennifer lived an amazing life, was a talented Santa Fe artist whose work was shown in many local galleries. She was a volunteer for a time with the Kitchen Angels.

Born in Miami Beach, Jennifer graduated from the University of Miami. She grew up on Key Biscayne in Miami. She Served in the Peace Corps spending several years in Bolivia where she became fluent in Spanish and worked with the native people helping them better their lives. She was a textile designer in Manhattan for many years. She traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia where she designed unique jackets and apparel and sold many of her paintings. Her love was India where she began following Sathya Sai Babba which gave her great spiritual peace.

She is survived by her daughter, Gretchen of Long Island, NY; Brother Scott of Mobile, AL; Brother Jeff of Boca Raton and sister, Nanette of St. Augustine, FL.

She will be missed by her family and her dear friends Margaret and Hoda who were by her side to the end and also the many wonderful Babba devotees and people whose lives she touched.
