US Peace Corps holds health fair in Durmen

United States Peace Corps International Organisation’s Pre-Service Training (PST) programme held a health fair in Durmen Abmulatoriya Policlinic on 27 March.
The main goal of the fair was to familiarise the population of Tashkent city and Tashkent region with Peace Corps International Organisation’s Health programme trainees’ activity and to provide information on existing health issues in Uzbekistan.
Peace Corps International Organisation’s PST Health Programme is a three-month training held every year. It prepares American volunteers who came to Uzbekistan for two-year service to help increase healthcare knowledge among population and prevent wide spread diseases in Uzbekistan.
The programme will last through trainee orientation on 2 April. Then, 17 volunteers will leave to different provinces of Uzbekistan to accomplish their goals during two-year service.
