The Jean Galbraith interview
9:82 minutes
Third-year Boalt Hall law student Jean Galbraith has just concluded her tenure as editor-in-chief of the California Law Review. Here, she details her unusual path to law school, from studying religion at Harvard to working for the Peace Corps in The Gambia; explains how law journals differ from those at other professional schools; and talks about her upcoming clerkship with the Federal Court of Appeals in Washington, DC.
Chancellor Robert M. Berdahl talks to this year's Faculty Research Lecturers — Erich Gruen, the Gladys Rehard Wood Professor of History and Classics, and David Wake, Professor Emeritus of Integrative Biology; University Librarian Tom Leonard; and law student Jean Galbraith, editor of the California Law Review. At the end of the program, Berdahl shares what's on the Top of his Mind: the importance of thinking like global citizens.
