Third-year Boalt Hall law student Jean Galbraith has just concluded her tenure as editor-in-chief of the California Law Review. Here, she details her unusual path to law school, from studying religion at Harvard to working for the Peace Corps in The Gambia; explains how law journals differ from those at other professional schools; and talks about her upcoming clerkship with the Federal Court of Appeals in Washington, DC.

Chancellor Robert M. Berdahl talks to this year's Faculty Research Lecturers Erich Gruen, the Gladys Rehard Wood Professor of History and Classics, and David Wake, Professor Emeritus of Integrative Biology; University Librarian Tom Leonard; and law student Jean Galbraith, editor of the California Law Review. At the end of the program, Berdahl shares what's on the Top of his Mind: the importance of thinking like global citizens.
