Hi there.

I was working for De Beers (Sediza) in Zaire during the period you mentioned and think the name "Angela Sweeney" may ring a bell with me. One of my old colleagues married an American girl who was in the Peace Corps, and I have a feeling it was the Angela you mentioned. I'll look into it and if it's possibly the same one I'll try and put you in touch.

By the same token, did you know a Peace Corps girl called Jenny Hirsch who was working up in the Kasai's on a fish project i think. Probably at Mwene Ditu?

Hi! I am a physician and am considering going to Kinshasa to work for one month in Feb/March. My family is concerned about the political situation there and very worried for my safety. I would love to hear from anyone who is there or who has been there recently. I would appreciate any advice.

I was based in Kamina from 72-74 on the WHO Smallpox programe. I am interrested in getting in touch with PCVs who were also in that program around that time.
