Though heís only lived in Laurel for a little more than a year, Alexander Hirtle has found a new job as a constituent aide for Prince Georgeís County Councilman Thomas Dernoga (D-Dist.1).

Hirtle, a longtime Sierra Club member, has led the organization's Anne Arundel County branch in the past and continues to be a Prince Georgeís County chapter representative.

He has experience lobbying for environmental issues in Annapolis and has three years experience in the Peace Corps in the West African country of Cape Verde.
