Program on Nepal scheduled at MCC Dr. Kay Gengenbach
Morgan Community College welcomes Dr. Kay Gengenbach to the campus library at 7 p.m. Sept. 14, for a program and slide show on Nepal.
Her talk, "Nepal: Culture, Development and Conflict" will highlight the people, places and issues surrounding the region where she was a recent visitor.
Gengenbach, director of international programs at Colorado School of Mines, is also an adjunct instructor of anthropology at Red Rocks Community College and MCC.
Although she has not been on campus for a couple of years, she still teaches some guided study courses for the college. She is a former Peace Corps volunteer to Poland where, as a small business developer, she worked with health care providers to develop tools for upgrading skills in a post-Communist environment. Gengenbach is an extremely knowledgeable world traveler and is a distinguished authority on Native American culture.
