I'm looking for the guy who wrote the lyrics to a song performed at the Ambassador's July 4th picnic in '88 or '89. The song was "Peace Corps Baby," and what a surprise, it hasn't hit the top 40 here in the States, so I'm having trouble locating the artist.
If you know who wrote this song, please contact me at Katesabo@aol.com. Um, insert feeble reward offer here? Information leading to contact with this guy will be rewarded. If you're anywhere near Sacramento, California, I'll take you to dinner and tequilla shots. Otherwise, I'll send you a check for the cash equivalent.

I was at that party but do not remember the song. However, there were not many volunteers with any musical talent. It may have been Pete Govert who worked for bruce lundeen, aka chp. or, i recall the teacher group that started november 89 had a couple of musicians.
good luck.

I was also at the party and also don't remember the song, but agree with Bob that it was probably Pete.
Kate, I'm wondering if you've heard anything from Dave Sipp. I'd love to connect with him but last I heard from him he was in Bosnia.
