Barbara Joan Muller, educator, died August 21, at her home in Colorado Springs. She was 79.

Born May 3, 1925 in New York, Mrs. Muller attended Queens College and married John R. Muller, also a graduate of Queens College. They moved to Colorado in 1959 with their three children and taught in District 11 schools. After retiring, Mrs. Muller and her husband taught in Brazil, Guam and Austria and served in the Peace Corps in the Solomon Islands.

Mrs. Muller is preceded in death by her husband in 1998. She is survived by three children: Martha Delaney-Hotz of Alexandria, Virginia; Mark Robert Muller of Denver, Colorado; and John Robert Muller, Jr., of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mrs. Muller has five grandchildren and one greatgranddaughter.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 5th, at 12:00 noon at the American Mothers' Chapel at Rock Ledge Ranch, Chambers Way and 31st Street. Parking is on Chambers Way.
