Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
Attended graduate school in anthropology; spent a year in Lar doing fieldwork; worked as consultant after receiving Ph.D. Now am devoting most of my time to horticulture. Spent a week in Iran in 1999 with RPCV group tour. Have 3 children: Amy McIntire (27), Philip (17) and Stephen (14). Live in Richmond, VA.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
One of the most formative experiences of my life, especially continued friendships with Iranians and interest in Iranian culture, art and politics.
