Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
M.A., TEFL, Columbia University, 1974. Taught in and directed freshman English program, Pahlavi University, Shiraz, Iran, 1974-76. Taught English at Abadan Institute of Technology, Abadan, Iran, 1976-79. Experienced the Iranian revolution from deeply within. Returned to the USA, switched gears, and became a lawyer in 1983. Since then, have practiced in Orange County, California (currently with a firm in Irvine, specializing in intellectual property litigation). One of my colleagues is an Afghan-American woman. Go figure.

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Who would have believed at the time that we were experiencing the best years Afghanistan would see in its history?

Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
Sure.

Any message for returned volunteers?:
Your email gets a friendly response. Your visit gets a few cold beers and some scurrilous stories and vivid memories.
