Taught English at Abadan Institute of Technology, Abadan, Iran, 1976-79. Experienced the Iranian revolution from deeply within. Returned to the USA, switched gears, and became a lawyer in 1983. Go figure.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Who would have believed at the time that we were experiencing the best years Afghanistan would see in its history?
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
Sure.
Any message for returned volunteers?:
Your email gets a friendly response. Your visit gets a few cold beers and some scurrilous stories and vivid memories.
