Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
Thanks to the Peace Corps, I changed my career, entering the
architectural engineering field, where I have been working for that past
29 years. My career has taken me Omaha, Singapore, Hong Kong, Los
Angeles, and Hawaii where I lived and worked. Currently (and for the
past ten years), I am with the Smithsonian, working on the construction
of a new telescope facility on Mauna Kea, the highest mountain in Hawaii.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
One of the best times of my life! I met my wife, an Afghan national, there;
we have been married for the past 29 years. The current events have
affected our lives considerably. We hope for peace soon.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
Edward Henry; Kenneth Lydon; Thomas Sonnemann; et al from Cycle 8.
