I remained in Afghanistan and worked for the Dept. of Overseas Schools,

Returning home, I did my Masters Work at the Univ. of Wisc. -
Milwaukee, receiving an MS in Educational Supervision and
Administration. I taught in Archdiocese of Milwaukee and was prinicpal
of 2 of its schools, St. John's in South Milwaukee and St. Veronica's in
Milwaukee. In 1982, I changed careers. I completed a doctorate in
liturgical music and went into full-time church music at St. Matthias in
Milwaukee until 1994, and since at Christ the King in Jacksonville, FL.
Very active in arts and civic organizations, enjoy traveling and hosting
friends from the north who travel this way.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Peace Corps is the bestyjob in the world. I would love to do it again!
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
I would love to hear from any former volunteers from Afghanistan in the
years 1968-73.

Do you remember me, Bernie? Lalla (Elizabeth Jones) I was the only 7th grader and took French with Mme. Baron by the swimming pool. That was 1971-72. Actually we left in Jan 72 to go to Delhi. Melissa and Becky Sammel went to Delhi with me.
I don't remember that you were RPCV! I did PC for 3 yrs - 1980-81 in Cote d'Ivoire, 881-83 in Zaire. Was TEFL. Am still abroad teaching EFL at Kuwait University. My family often thinks about Lash and how wonderful our time was there. Dad (Digger Jones) will be 87 this month, Mom (Suzy Jones) turned 80 last month.
