Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
I have been teaching at Florida A&M University the past 5 years. Befor that
worked for MWRA in Boston for 6-1/2 years, and before that in West Africa for
little over year.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Barbado and Estern Caribbean was definitely a wonderful experience. The Peace
Corps years were nice. Funny thing, I also knew at the time that the Peace Corps
years was magical.

I found your e address on a RPCV site. I am happy-happy to hear you are well. I am well, too. Married. Two kids (13 and 16 yrs). Still helping disabled children, my 26th year, and I still love doing it each and every day.
I need to tell you something. Twenty-five years ago, you asked me what my greatest dream would be. I told you I wnted to be a mom. You told me that was a great dream, and to go out and find it. It took me a while, but I am grateful to you for your advice. You were right.
I go by Liz mostly these middle aged days. My last name is Sheslow. If you google me, you will only get my hubby...he's the publisher in the family - so far. I live in Delaware. I have an awful cat and a wonderful dog. I am a good mother and a bad cook. We are never bored around here, even though normal folks might be.........I go to New York area fairly often (Jewish holidays especially) to visit my husband's folks. Ever get to Brooklyn? How are your kids? Kitty? Dreams?
When did we get so old? I feel just the same as I did back then, tho I have mellowed quite a bit.
