3 yrs on the Tohono O'odham reservation in southwest Arizona, 3 years in Las Cruces, NM and then going on 6 years in Corvallis, Oregon. I met Andy (RPCV Fiji) at NAU. We have two little girls. I'm an Early Childhood Specialist working with children 3-5 years with disabilities.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Nothing could have prepared me better for what I did after I came back to the states. The people I served and served with are very precious to me.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
Dana Henry, Kirsten Pihlaja (I saw her name on here!), Pam Jenkins, Shawn Guerra, I haven't heard from Beto and Rosa for awhile..
Any message for returned volunteers?:
Aren't we lucky? What a wonderful gift we received in those years...
